This blog contains writings during study in Program Pascasarjana Kajian Pengembangan Perkotaan University of Indonesia. We wish to encourage awareness about city development in Indonesia. Cities in Indonesia cannot ignore the fact that they have grown and developed to be important livelihood for many people. Each year more people are coming to the city in search for a ‘better’ livelihod, yet the city itself presents a bundle of complex problem coming from overpopulation, transportation, social, crime, and physical development.
Meanwhile these writings are accessible only in Indonesian, but we plan to present them in English in near future. We also welcome writing contribution on the same theme by fellow alumnies, or anyone with www.wordpress.com account. Hopefully this small blog can contributes to city-issues awareness for lots of people, especially fellow Indonesian
